Privacy Commitment: HerDays is designed as a "Privacy-First" offline application. We believe your health journey is personal, which is why we do not collect, store, or share your health data on any external servers.
1. Local Storage Only
HerDays operates primarily as a local logging tool. All personal information and health-related data you enter into the App is stored strictly and exclusively on your mobile device's local storage.
- We do NOT have a backend server to receive your health logs.
- We do NOT have access to your cycle history, symptoms, or moods.
- No account creation is required to use the App, ensuring complete anonymity.
2. Information Processed Locally
The following data is processed only on your device to provide you with insights:
- Menstrual cycle dates (period start and end dates).
- Physical symptoms, moods, and health notes.
- Estimated future cycle dates and potential fertile windows (for general reference only).
- Personal activity logs and sexual activity notes.
3. Data Security
Since your data never leaves your device, its security is managed by your mobile operating system's built-in security features. We recommend securing your device with a passcode or biometric lock to prevent unauthorized access to your local logs.
4. Third-Party Services
To support the development and maintenance of the App, we may use:
- Google AdMob: For displaying advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers (like Advertising ID) to show relevant ads.
- Firebase/Crashlytics: For basic technical crash reporting to improve app stability.
Note: These third-party services NEVER have access to the health data stored locally in HerDays.
5. Your Control Over Data
You have absolute control over your information:
- Deletion: You can delete any entry directly within the App.
- Permanent Removal: Uninstalling the App or clearing the App's storage in your device settings will permanently delete all your data. We cannot recover this data because we do not hold any copies.
6. Medical Disclaimer
HerDays is a tracking and logging tool intended for informational and educational purposes only.
- NOT A MEDICAL DEVICE: This app does not provide medical advice, clinical diagnoses, or treatment recommendations.
- NOT FOR CONTRACEPTION: The estimates for ovulation and fertile windows are based on statistical averages and should NOT be used as a form of birth control or to prevent pregnancy.
- CONSULT A PROFESSIONAL: Always seek the advice of a physician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition.
7. Children's Privacy
We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Since no data is transmitted to us, we do not store or process information from any user, including children.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new version on this page.
